The true love: A walk to remember

The best film I’ve never seen is A walk to remember. It was directed by Adam Shankman who has already directed Hairspray. This film is based on a book which has the same title. The main actors are Shane West and Mandy Moore, whose characters fell in love.

This romance is set in Beaufort, North California, in the decade of ninety’s. Landon Carter (Shane West), who is a rebellious boy, is punished to participate in some after-school activities because he had problems at high school. One of these after-school activities is perform at a school play as the main character. He asks for help to Jamie Sullivan (Mandy Moore), who is the reverend’s daughter, because he can’t learn the dialogue. Jamie accepts to help him with a condition, he can’t fell in love with her. In addition she isn’t a popular person as him, for this reason Landon wants to have a secret relation but this upsets Jamie. But he starts to love her and he kisses her during the play they are performing.

He starts to make real her list of dreams and they start a beautiful friendship, as a result, they start a relationship but there’s a problem. Jamie has a secret she can’t tell him due to the fact that it isn’t a positive thing, but her father speaks with her and finally she tells the secret to him. Since Landon knows the truth he starts to make her happy, helping her to achieve her dreams.

There are lots of reasons why I love this film. Firstly the romantic films and books are favourite genre. Secondly I believe this story, we can think it’s real. And finally the plot and the actors performance are marvellous. Therefore, I would recommend this great film to anyone.
